Bullshit in brochure form....that would be the Return to Jehovah brochure....the same brochure they gave me after forcing me to meet up with them only so they could invite me to a judicial committee .....wich meant they had already judged me as unworthy to return anyway. ....a lovely brochure filled with lies on how the elders will HELP u return....please someone fetch me a bucket whilst I retch!!!!

What Was The Silliest "Offense" That You Were Counseled For?
by minimus inwhen i was a teenager, i was told by an elder that because i smiled a lot and was known for my good sense of humor, that i should come across as "more serious".
so before i was appointed a ms, while in my late teens, i transformed myself into a much more "serious" brother.. were you ever told that you needed to work on something that you knew was stoopid?.

When I was 18 I left home to pioneer. ..got my own flat etc.. even had the group held at my flat.....except we had a stand in oversear visit and he called me to one side at hall...I thought he wanted to discuss my upcoming pioneer school attendance. ...instead he counselled me from the scriptures. ..the one that says
"The stupid one is isolating himself"
Because he had heared I left home and was living in a flat. ... i was in the same book study group as my parents so it was pure crap and I told him so lol

In the early 90s I had a part time job in a reputable video store....we didn't even have a video player at home at the time. ..but I got counselled abd warned I could be bringing demonism into the cong!
Why? Because of some of the films contents that people might be renting ....duh I argued back saying that as the store had a strict policy of only playing suitable family movies in store and I had no video it wasn't like I was watching it lol .....
This elder had me crying alone in his car with a pile of watchtower articles for over an hour when we were supposed to be on ministry. .when my husband told him off he said I was overeating and it was only a friendly chat.....a blatant lie as he made me pray with him before he started the CHAT

I emailed the enquiry asking them to look into jws...don't know if it will help but explained how as a mother my child's safety was put at risk through JW policy on protecting the accused. ..thankfully she shared her concerns with me (she was 9) I removed her from having contact with him....and only learnt after that others had accused him!
As the branch is in the UK now and not here I figured it be appropriate to contact them :)

A family member who was df lost a child
As the parents were in good standing as in father was an elder a lot of jws went to child's funeral.
not one witness approached the mother to offer condolences etc...in fact they pointedly shunned and stared at the distraught mother...now who goes to funerals unless it's to comfort the bereaved? ?? Only sicko people
Is this just a one off...no when my step father died (an elder ) and the family were at the kh the family member who was also at the funeral was openly pointed out to anyone who wasn't aware they were df and advised to shun! At the funeral...she was so upset she left
Now I'm df I wonder if I will even be allowed at mums funeral as she has not spoke to me since I was df..and if I do go I will get the same treatment so what's the point....I'd only be distressing the rest of the family who are not in truth but not df

it is still strange, that an organization, lead by a group of old timers, is gaining billions at the moment, without giving any transparency and accountancy feedback, because these men "trust each other", and come away with that.. they got the property investment by the use of cohi associates, and deposit their liquid assets at the caymans.. it is clear: the real power behind the jw.org facade is securing his future.. don't get me wrong, i'm not insane, but more and more i got this strong gut feeling that some governmental organization has the real power.. gorby.

What did being a JW teach you?

dishonesty is fine if it's to trick people into joining the cult.. if your spouse stops believeing, the best thing you can do is break up the family.. the laws of the governing body overrule any other laws...or else!.
my friends are conditional.. avoid loving people, they'll only let you down or get df'd.. unintelligent dumbos are better than intelligent ones if the dumbos are elders or above.. hate is better than love.. i am not good enough and god will probably enjoy killing me.. demons will appear in my room at night.. ignore practicallity if being practical or loving prevents the leaders getting money or praise.. god hates.

Ahh rubadub u cracked me up....the pioneer moonwalk....reminded me of the persistently 'not homes' we used to work constantly to get our time in so we could chat in peace because they were not home ....except one time after about 3 months of standing on this doorstep daily some irate home owner came out ranting at us....he was a shift worker trying to sleep....every day we woke him up lol
